A case study Aviation English training
When learning a language for a specific job, is there a benefit to doing it in an environment that replicates your workplace? This workshop looks at a specific case study of employees learning English in an environment that replicates their work environment and discusses the pros and cons of doing so.
I will be touring the oil rig in Languagelab’s virtual learning platform and answering questions. After the session you will have the opportunity to see the aiport .
Biography
With over 20 years of international experience, Alan England specialises in the development of corporate relationships for Languagelab. Alan began his career at Hays Plc in the construction industry, before moving to Emap Plc where he worked in the oil and gas, project finance and aviation sectors, both within the UK and abroad. Before joining Languagelab, Alan spent 10 years working in the Middle East and Africa where he was responsible for setting up operations for the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
